Educational Screenings

Micro μ Festival

Inside Their World

Micro μ FestivalEDU brings cinema closer to students through a specially curated programme of short films that looks at children and young people not from a distance, but from within.

A new initiative based on the educational school screenings held during the previous school year, Micro μ presents an expanded version of the programme as a first step towards further developing its educational activities for the new school year.

Four thematic sections explore issues that concern young people today: the pressure of growing up, bullying and social media pressure, the need to talk about what we feel, as well as the value of education and active participation.

Through film, students encounter different stories and experiences, engage in discussion and discover how cinema can become a starting point for dialogue.

Screenings take place in the morning, with specially designed programmes for different age groups, followed by a short discussion with filmmakers and a qualified psychologist.
