“Common Ground”
16 films • 6 countries • 1 common cinematic language
Common Ground is the new tribute of the 16th Micro μ Festival to contemporary Spanish-language short cinema.
Sixteen films from different countries, generations and cinematic perspectives come together in Athens, exploring people and societies in change, memory and identity, relationships, conflicts, humour and the unexpected turns of everyday life.
Films that have travelled to major international festivals, alongside works being presented in Greece for the first time, create a multifaceted portrait of contemporary Spanish-language cinema.
Beyond languages, countries and borders, “Common Ground” looks for what connects us.
